The Impulscience® program in a nutshell:

Since its launch in 2022, the Impulscience® program has aimed to support ambitious and innovative projects led by mid-career researchers in the field of life sciences, initially selected by the European Research Council (ERC) but not funded due to European budget constraints. The program provides 2.3 M€ funding support for 5 years to each laureate. Professor Emmanuelle Charpentier, winner of the 2020 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, is the patron of the program. Seven researchers are awarded such prestigious grants every year (see the awardees).
