On October 18 and 22, the Académie des Sciences honoured 78 research actors for their talent and remarkable contributions to science. Jonathan Weitzman is one of them.

The Academy of Sciences awards nearly 80 prizes each year, covering all fields of science, both fundamental and applied. These prizes recognise and honour outstanding scientists and give their work greater visibility by highlighting the many facets of today’s science.
Jonathan Weitzman, professor at Université Paris Cité and research director in our research centre, received the Roy-Vaucouloux Prize for his work on cancers and host-parasite interactions.
