Ariane is a medical student at Université Paris Cité. She is currently taking a one year break in her studies to realize a Master 2 in Genetics. She obtained her Master 1 in two years during her 2nd and 3rd years of medical school following a double course “Medicine-Science” and the Initiation to Research course from the Faculty of Medicine, learning about innovative technologies in genomics and genetic predisposition to cancer. She is joining Defossez’s lab for her Master 2 internship during which she will investigate the nature and function of the interactions between UHRF1 and new interactors using interactome data with the PhD student Xiaoying Chen.
